An Advanced Taste of the Transition Handbook.
Happy New Year folks and welcome back to Transition Culture. The final touches are being put to what is now definitely called **The Transition Handbook: from oil dependency to local resilience**, and I can now give you an advance taste of the wonder that it will be. On the right you can see the cover, and by clicking here you can download what’s called the blad. A blad (blad stands for Book Layout and Design) is a sample of the book that is produced for distributors, bookshops and salespeople to give them a flavour of it. Until the full book emerges late February, this’ll give you a sense of what’s coming…

Don’t know about you lot, but I shall be reserving my copy.
Here in Edinburgh, some groups have started to make noises, but publicity is lacking, along with political will, but then that’s par for the course, isn’t it.

Rob – It looks absolutely fantastic. I can’t wait to see the final version. (Will we be able to get it here in the U.S.?) It is much needed.

Hi Rob! you have my full attention, you are doing some of the best, most important work on the planet! I’ve been posting on your blog as I’ve been taking on Transition stuff myself (PO + CC = TT).
But hey, Moses, I think we need to structure in more room for the whole concept of Transition to evolve, both spiritually, economically, educationally, and politically. Transition is growing fast, but in a situation that could change even faster, and I don’t want the Transition work to be overwhelmed by events.
I’m so passionate about evolving Transition that I could not put what I have to say on your blog, though several times I’ve wanted to. So I’m posting it on our website here as
strategy for Transition. Please have a look at the website. May not be perfect but we feel it’s important. I’ve been living “in the wilderness” with the “writing on the wall” for thirty years, and this has been my preparation for deeper levels of Transition.
