This project was to be my family’s home. It was truly a labour of love and probably the most beautiful thing I ever made (apart from my children). I can’t really do it much justice here, the best place to find out more about it is through the detailed Building Diary we kept during construction, which starts here. Here is a picture of my family in the house about 3 hours before it all went up in smoke.
