Please donate to support Transition Culture

Every now and then, I invite the readers of Transition Culture to help me out with the costs of running the site.  The costs in terms of renting server space, technical support and so on total to a few hundred pounds a year.  I offer the site without advertising, and hopefully the site’s stats reflect that its readers find it useful and use it regularly.  So I’d like to invite readers to dip their hands in their pockets and throw something in the hat to sustain the site.  Transition Culture usually has around 3,000 unique visitors per day.  If only 1% of you sent in £10, all would be well.   Many thanks for any help you are able to give.

My deepest gratitude to everyone who donated to help me out with the running costs for Transition Culture for the next 12 months. Collectively you donated around £300 which will cover most of the running costs of the site. I won’t thank you all individually, but thank you all so much.

Hello. Why don’t you host your website yourself or share a collectivly owned server for instance ? With control over data and energy use, It seems to me that it would be a more resilient sustainable transition-like solution.
