Seeking your stories about land access

Transition Town Forres celebrate getting their hands on new land for allotments.

Greetings all… one of the ‘Ingredients’ I am trying to write is called ‘Ensuring Land Access’, and, as you might imagine, it looks at how Transition initiatives might gain useful access to land in or around their community, particularly with an eye to setting up new allotments, community gardens, orchards or whatever.  I would love to hear your stories, did you manage to get your collective hands on any land, whatworked (or not) for you, and what advice would you have for other initiatives?  You could either post them below, or email them to me at rob (at) transitionculture.org.  Thanks!
