Some Mundane Stuff About Transition Culture Notifications…
Feel free to glaze over. Many of you are signed up to recieve notifications when a new post appears here, and lots of people have been in touch over the last few weeks to say that they don’t seem to be getting them any more. While I would imagine that this would be actually a blessed relief, my web wizard Simon at Lumpy Lemon has been beavering away trying to figure what has gone wrong. Apparently it is now fixed, so we should be back to you getting a torrent of emails telling you a new post about runner bean jumpers is now awaiting your attention, and so on. If you still aren’t getting them, Simon advises that you check your spam folder (best place for ‘em some might say).. Also, if you have subscribed, but have never recieved anything, it may be that you haven’t clicked the link in the confirmation email you were sent, which activates your subscription. Finally, if, as seems highly likely to me, you get entirely fed up with these notifications, every one you get has an ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom, so that with one click you can simplify your life greatly, and instantly create time for doing something useful like gardening or draught-proofing. What a great service.

Thanks Rob – I am pleased to be getting the emails again. If, as I find, it is a struggle to get people engaged in transition in your community, a varied daily update is a good stimulus and source of inspiration.

I have the RSS transitionculture feed on igoogle so I see every new post when I routinely check each AM.
Hope this helps.

Like John I’ve put the feed on RSS feed in google – sounds like a bit of a daunting faff but a piece of cake really, just click the RSS or reader icon in toolbar.
