I was impressed when I watched the Crash Course, it had a big impact on me. The interview was extremely interesting and up to date and he has again captured a lot of my worries and thinking about the way current economic crisis are heading.

The issues he raises around how to talk to people about this issues depending on where there are on the spectrum is desperately important too. I encounter difficulties daily on my discussions with my wife, mainly around household eco-improvements. I need to be able to do it better.

The gap he talks about exists in society and within individual lives. There are still a huge gap between my desired sustainable lifestyle and my actual lifestyle - though it is a lot better than average, I/we still have a long way to go.

He has again spurred me on to do better.

That we're having an increasing number of intelligent people engaging in these conversations, increases my sense that we might be able to design:

"A global system of human-scale, interconnected Local Living Economies that function in harmony with local ecosystems, meet the basic needs of all people, support just and democratic societies, and foster joyful community life." - David Korten
