		<description>The idea of a local currency reminds me of the joy of swap shops I had as a child. The value of something I had to swap, or wanted, was so much more real.

I wonder what the parameters are that best suit a local currency? The size of the local population, or maybe the strength of cultural identity with the region? Probably this is what we will discover as the concept moves forward; or is the answer in the book!

I guess I need to buy the book.</description>
