The Independent did it very cynically with me years back over the Brighton LETS scheme and they've done it with the Green Party for decades. Remember that newspapers are there to connect advertisers to consumers and people getting on self-reliantly are, at least in the short-term, not quite in the right target consumer demographic if they're going to be creating an enjoyable life with less 'stuff'.</p> One thing you can be sure of is that the mainstream press, including the heavyweights, will misrepresent things. Now they have told us the answers, we are allowed to consult. It all carts, horses and stable doors.
