I have read Monbiot's book and your review. I would like to have seen comment on what I think is perhaps the strongest of George's ideas. Namely, the switch the hydrogen fuel, produced by electrolysis from renewable energy, which may be transmitted using Direct Current.

Any thoughts? I am hoping to push this through a CIBSE energy working group.
