Hemp is the key to solving our global problems. I have no idea why we havent started using hemp in the united states yet. Not only hemp but marijuana should be massproduced. The only way we are ever going to save our planet is hemp

Hi! Back again !
I have to agree that Steves book can be a little disappointing in places, but overall it is a worthwhile resource. We started out with hemp and lime bought directly from Steve Allin and he gave instruction on how to mix and apply plaster over the phone !
"If its like cow poo its too runny, if its like horse poo its to stiff" was a great piece of advice.( I don't think that made it into the book !)
Anyway Steve directed people our way after we had mastered the skills necessary and the demand was such that we created a blog to help people looking for advice (from DIYers to architects)
Look here http://www.hemplime.blogspot.com/
and please feel free to post questions.
We will answer them if we can.

We've made nature, hemp, illegal and wonder why we have a problem with the environment.
We must change from toxic to non toxic building materials. Hemp building materials are key in that change. All laws must be altered to allow wholesale hemp growing now.
Hemp can help rebuild devistated areas quickly from restoring burnt soil to removing excess CO2, a proven cause of global warming. Hemp For Victory.

hemp is one of the best nature products. The problem is that the industry uses more and more modern plastic products and not the good old hemp. In the past most Robe products are made from hemp, its ultimate strong and some producers in germany on their way to produce their robes from hemp.

Hemp paper is stronger and longer lasting than paper made from wood pulp, and is free of chlorine and other acids. In terms of reusability, there is no contest, because hemp paper can be recycled seven times, while wood pulp paper can only muster four times.
