Reading the Signs…
I just got back from Machynlleth yesterday after a great Community Renewables course. I will be posting about the course tomorrow, just as soon as I have worked out how to post powerpoint files onto Word Press. In the meantime here are two great signs I saw on my visit to Machynlleth. The first is on a bee house exhibit at CAT where you can see African ‘wild’ bees. For anyone who wants to keep people out of somewhere, a sign like this struck me as a highly effective way of achieving that. If “Beware of the Dog hasn’t worked for you, and ‘Keep Out’ only excites people’s curiosity, you might like to try this. The mental picture of the clouds of angry bees pouring out of the door upon opening would be enough to keep even the most inquisitive person at bay.
The second is a sign that I spotted in the window of the butchers shop in Machynlleth, which made me laugh…
