Re Addiction Councelling- Albert de la Chance wrote a book I think in the 1980s called &quot;GreenSpirit&quot; which suggested just this- that we set up local groups which use the 12-step process to deal with their addiction to consumerism.  I think that this will be a very important part of our work because clearly consumerism is about filling emotional/spiritual holes that are not met by our culture.
&quot;Energy Junkies Anonymous&quot; might be appropriate also: &quot;My name is Bill. I have a lifestyle that consumes about 500kilowatts each day. HELP!!!&quot;
